Dominic Casaus began his career as DJ Beufie by collecting house music records in 2002. By 2003, he started playing music at local clubs and venues in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, including Louis Pub, Rebar and Martini Grille. By gaining local fame he naturally began booking many out of state events in larger cities such as Las Vegas, Denver, San Diego, El Paso, Houston, and Miami with many more to come in the future.

DJ Beufie's biggest interest is helping the state of New Mexico build its replicable name in the house music scene. He has co-hosted club nights alongside Native Soul Partners: Jubal and Zaint for approximately 6 years. DJ Beufie is often seen and heard spreading his good vibes through his diverse genre styles ranging from deep house, minimal tech house, funky house, and he even slightly dips into electro house.
DJ Beufie has rocked the "ones and twos" alongside a wide variety of Djs including: Johnny Fiasco, Mark Farina, Dave Ralph, Austin Leeds, Jake Childs, DJ Garth, Luke Solomon, J.A.M.O.N., Bad Boy Bill, Q Burns Abstract Messenger, Alexander East, Jonn Hawley, Hector Moralez, J-Jay, and that is only to name a few! He takes pride in his work alongside his partners at Native Soul.

At the beginning of 2008, the trio began taking the proper steps to launch their own digital record label known as Native Soul Recordings. NSR001 has appeared live on all major online digital music stores. In late 2008, DJ Beufie and Zaint teamed up on another project and started The Heatseekers and are producing tracks and remixing music creatively together.
DJ Beufie has recently started a new label called Speakeasy Recordings and has been featured on well-known internet shows such as, Hawtcast, Star Sessions, and Soul on Beat. DJ Beufie now has a radio show called Speak Soul Radio and has recently just won the DJ competition associated with www.insoulwetrust.com.
