PNut (Rose Neri) was a quick learner from an early age. When she was 8 years old she built a collection of sound effects on her dad's computer and made her own webpage to showcase them, deciding she wanted to be a sound engineer someday. Her early musical talents included 1st chair violinist and self-taught drummer by age 12.
Her first paid gig as a DJ was an Arabic Ramadan dance party for a friend. Since then she has been playing at clubs like Benders, City Hall, Bar Standard, Mo's, Funky Buddah and MiniBar as well as underground parties in Denver. She has a weekly residency at Mo's and a bi-weekly residency at MiniBar and has shared the decks with DJ's Darryl Foxx (Miami), J.Phlip (Berlin) and Chris Diesel (NYC). She recently did a podcast for NOICE! and had a mix on Pure.FM's main room house channel online radio and can be seen and heard as one of Flatline Presents local talent.
She brings together a range of genres from deep house and electronica to tech house and booty tech. Expect nothing short of fierce, brave energy from this bright, young talent. Look for her latest releases on Purple Gate Records. |
